Welcome to the Land Between the Lakes (LBL)

2023 LBL QUOTA HUNT APPLICATION SYSTEM

ADVISORY: While most of LBL was unaffected by storm damage in December 2021, there are significant areas of damaged timber in certain sections of LBL. Care needs to be taken when hunting in and around these areas. Beware of loose overhead limbs as well as logging operations. Check out the vicinity map here.

Applications for the youth and adult turkey quota hunts at Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area will be open from February 1 through February 28, 2023 . Application fee is $10. Information about the quota hunt drawing is here.

To apply as a group, the group leader will need to be the first in the group to apply. After the credit card payment is accepted, the leader will receive a confirmation email which will include the assigned group number. The group leader must provide the group number for any others to join the group. Any additional group members will be required to enter the group number and group leader’s last name before they can proceed with their application. A group can consist of one to five hunters. Note: Youth hunters can only apply for a youth hunt or apply with an adult for a regular hunt, but not for both.

All youth drawn for the April 1-2 Youth Hunt may also hunt the April 8-9 Youth Hunt. There is no separate drawing for the April 8-9 hunt.

The LBL Map shows hunt areas and is available to view or print online by clicking here or can be purchased at LBL Welcome Stations for $14.95. There is also a smaller foldable design map available. For more information see the 2023 Turkey Hunting fact sheet, available here.
